About This Chapter

We are a new Chapter looking forward to bringing metal clay artists together and nurturing each other. We are proud to be supported by The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass, located in Corning, NY. The Studio is a major glass-based arts center that brings in artist/teachers and artists/students from all over the work to participate in workshops. In addition to providing a space for our meetings and equipment for our group, The Studio has also offered to help cover expenses for visiting artists.

Meetings will be held once per quarter and will consist of a demonstration of a particular technique by one of our members, then a few hours of hands-on working by the members. We will also bring in guest artists a couple of times a year to give lecture/demonstrations and to hold master classes when possible. See the Current Events tab of this site for more information.
