About This Chapter

The mission of the Southwest Florida Chapter is to promote the education, enthusiasm and art of metal clay. We welcome metal clay artists of all skill levels and experience. We meet in southwest Florida (usually Naples FL) but anyone from south Florida is welcome to join our chapter.

We are very excited to start this chapter. We're made up of skilled metal clay artists and teachers as well as those brand new to metal clay. Learning together and sharing knowledge is the joy of being in a guild and we welcome everyone with an interest in metal clay. We strive to provide an atmosphere of fun, support and respect.

Join us online and/or in person for our meetings. Our meetings can include (but are not limited to) demos, lectures, lunch or dinner parties and/or hands-on clay play activities. Everyone is encouraged to participate fully at our get-togethers - sharing their own unique ideas, the latest updates, special tips & tricks and do Show n' Tells of some of their jewelry work. Our goal is to share ideas, meet fellow artists and to have fun.

Membership to our chapter is free. And we will do our best to keep our chapter free of annual dues. We want a free exchange of talent, ideas and information at meetings in order to encourage each individual's artistic development.

Note: We also have several certified instructors in our group. Some of these members are already teaching metal clay classes in south florida. These classes can be posted on our website.
